ABACUS Enterprise Functional Architect
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of ABACUS enterprise architecture tool developed by Avolution
- Focuses on designing and implementing functional aspects of enterprise architecture using the ABACUS tool
- Functional Design: Develop and maintain functional architecture models, ensuring they align with business requirements and IT strategies.
- Integration: Ensure seamless integration of functional components with other architecture domains (e.g., business, data, application, and technology).
- Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and design functional solutions.
- Roadmapping: Create and manage functional roadmaps to guide the organization’s transformation initiatives.
- Governance: Establish and enforce functional architecture standards and guidelines.
- Impact Analysis: Conduct impact analysis of new functional requirements and changes to the existing architecture.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of functional architecture designs and decisions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Several years of experience in functional architecture, preferably with ABACUS or similar tools.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and proficiency in architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, ABACUS Certified Architect, or similar are often preferred.
