Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst with 8+ years of experience in the Banking domain, to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ETL Testing, SQL, and a working knowledge of Test Automation using Selenium. The role demands expertise in test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, with proven experience in Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: ∙Analyze business and functional requirements to design and execute test scenarios and cases. ∙Perform ETL Testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes across different systems. ∙Write and execute complex SQL queries to ensure data integrity and accuracy. ∙Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium. ∙Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and timely delivery. ∙Manage test artifacts using Test Management Tools and track issues using Defect Management Tools (e.g., JIRA). ∙Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. ∙Deliver detailed test results and reporting metrics to stakeholders, ensuring quality and compliance standards. Skills and Qualifications: ∙8+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Banking and Financial Services. ∙Hands-on experience in ETL Testing and validation of data pipelines. ∙Proficient in SQL, with the ability to write complex queries. ∙Knowledge of Test Automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium). ∙Familiarity with Test Management Tools like HP ALM, Zephyr, or similar. ∙Experience with Defect Management Tools like JIRA. ∙Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and workflows (Scrum/Kanban). ∙Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: ∙Understanding of UK Banking regulations and standards. ∙Experience in API testing and tools like Postman or SOAP UI. ∙Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.
